FMS Lady Rams find their stride against Broncos in volleyball match

FMS Lady Rams

The Francis Marion volleyball team, with new coaches and many new players to the game of volleyball, found their rhythm against the Breakthrough Broncos September 3rd by winning three straight games in a best of five match. The Lady Rams have a team full of incredible talent (16 ladies to be exact), but they had not yet been able to close the deal on their first few games. With so many new players and only minimal training together over the summer, Coach Bolding and Coach Evans attempted several different rotations of ladies on the court at the beginning of the season to find their best six who work flawlessly together. The six that started and predominantly played for their shutout match against the Broncos, showed they have the chemistry on the court together to lead the Rams to many more victories. These ladies are A’Naja Tubbs (captain), Jessica Essex, Ke’Lashia Shelton, Zila Essex, Nakeyla Anderson, and Hannah Allen.

The Rams also have an electric bench of ladies not only itching to get in the game to display their own talent, but they fully support the ladies on the court. The bench against the Broncos kept up boisterous cheers throughout the entire match motivating their teammates and intimidating their opponents with their energy.

Watch out for the Lady Rams volleyball squad… .they’re ready to make some noise the rest of this season.
