West African dance and drum ensemble to perform in Greensboro

The West African drum and dance ensemble Sahi On Ko Djony from Birmingham is coming to do a program during spring break week for the Boys & Girls Club on Wednesday March 23rd at 11am at the Armory. They will be teaching children about the music and culture of West Africa, and demonstrating dances and drumming while interacting with the children. The program is being sponsored by the Greensboro Music Club, the Lions Club, and First United Methodist, and the public is invited to come sit and watch.
