Marion man arrested for biting off chunk of victim’s ear, cops say

Kelton White of Marion was arrested on August 25 on charges of first-degree assault. The case was filed in Perry County with District Judge Robert D. Bryant assigned to the case. White’s bond was set at $30,000.

According to the criminal complaint in the case against White, the incident for which he was charged allegedly took place at around 9:15 p.m. on July 30 of this year. On that day, according to the court filing, White allegedly, “with intent to disfigure another person seriously and permanently cause such an injury,” attacked the victim “by biting off a portion of [the victim’s] right ear.”
