Dr. Jimmy C Cleveland, born on January 5, 1946, passed away at the age of 77 on August 12, 2023, at his residence in Brent, Alabama. Dr. Cleveland, who practiced dentistry in Marion for many years, was a prominent figure in the community. The public had the opportunity to pay their respects on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cahaba Memorial Funeral Chapel located at 100 Patridge Street in Brent, Alabama. His funeral service was held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the New Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Brent. Dr. Cleveland lay in repose at the New Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church for one hour before the funeral service. The service was officiated by Elder Amos Cutts, Jr. with Reverend Danny Leverette serving as Pastor. Following the funeral, Dr. Cleveland was buried at the Hopewell Cemetery in Brent, Alabama.
