Extension will host forest health workshop July 31

Local cooperative Extension Agents, as well as other partners, will be collaborating on the Central Alabama Forest Health Workshop which will take place on July 31, from 9:30 AM to 3 PM.

Participants will meet at the Black Belt Research and Extension Center, located at 60 County Road 944, in Marion Junction. The workshop will present a variety of topics on first health including basic monitoring, emerging diseases, pest management, and invasive species management. 5 PLM and CFE Credits will be available to eligible participants.

Cost of registration is $15 and include lunch and refreshments provided at the workshop. Registration is required and may be done through the Alabama Cooperative Extension Services website.
