A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, has claimed the life of a Valley Grande woman. Deborah S. Browder, 69, was fatally injured when the 2006 Hyundai Accent she was driving collided headon with the 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 driven by Donna M. McDaniel, 58, of Vance. Browder was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. McDaniel was injured and airlifted to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 219 near the 18 mile marker, approximately 15 miles north of Selma, in Perry County.
