Sheneta E. Miles-Reaves

Sheneta E. Miles-Reaves died Wednesday, August 10 at the age of 57.
She was born Nov. 22, 1964 to Dorothy F. Miles and the late Willie C. Miles in Greensboro.
She graduated from Greensboro High School in 1983. She was employed with and later retired through disability from Phifer Wire Products, Inc. In her career, she made Phifer Wire history as the only woman to work in the Rod Mill department.
She was a very strong-willed and determined young lady who could hold her own. She was taught by her father at an early age to be mechanically inclined and didn’t mind getting her hands dirty. She was loved by many and she loved and cherished the relationships she had with family and friends. Her constant companion was her Pomeranian dog, Cujo.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy F. Miles, and her mother’s longtime companion, Bobby J. Marks, both of Moundville; a brother, Michael Banks of Ft. Wayne; an uncle, J.W. Thomas of Detroit; four aunts, Betty Young, Jean Harriel, Bernice Curry, and Eileen (Tommy) Rhone, all of Detroit, Mich.; several nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, August 20 at Miles Cemetery on Co. Rd. 23 in North Perry with the Rev. Ferrell Caddell of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church officiating and Washington and Paige Mortuary
