Mrs. Mary N. Mitchell, age 85, of Brent, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was born Jan. 31, 1938.
Mary was a 30 year employee of Health Tex. During her free time, she loved gardening and attending Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church. Her love for her grands and great-grandchildren was apparent.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Mitchell; parents, Dolan and Lovella Mathis; brother, Rondy Mathis; and sister, Mayverine Simmons.
Mary is survived by her son, Steve Mitchell (Yolanda) of Brent; daughters, Peggy Howell (Glenn Huey) of Sprott and Ramona Donner of Brent; grandchildren, Jason Mitchell, Kelly Smith, Michael Flannagan, Brett Elam, Matthew Flannagan, Aarika Smith, and Corey Daniel; and eight greatgrandchildren.
Services for Mary were held at Rockco Funeral Home in Centreville on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 11 am. Visitation will begin at 10 am. She was laid to rest at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery following services.
