You are hereby notified that on the 23rd day of April 2024, a complaint to quiet title was filed in the Circuit Court of Perry County against the Defendants named above and any and all persons claiming any title to, interest in, lien or encumbrances in the land described or any part thereof whether such interest be present, future, contingent, reversionary or otherwise in the tract of land described as follows:

Commence at an iron pipe stake in the NE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 19 North, Range 8 East, Perry County, thence East 183.4 feet to the West boundary of Alabama Highway No. 5 Bypass, thence along the West boundary of said Highway North 36 Degrees and 20 Minutes East 113.7 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel of land herein described; thence North 80 Degrees and 10 Minutes West 75 feet, thence North 36 Degrees and 20 Minutes East 40 feet, thence South 80 Degrees and 10 Minutes East 75 feet, thence South 36 Degrees and 20 Minutes West 40 feet to the point of beginning and ending. Said land is located in the SW ¼ of the NE 1/4 of Section 18, Township 19 North, Range 8 East, Perry County, Alabama.

Notice is given by publication under the provisions of Sections 6-6-564 and 6-6-565 Code of Alabama (1975), as amended, to the named Defendant being any and all persons claiming any title to, interest in, lien or encumbrance on the above described land or any part thereof, whether such interest be present, future, contingent, reversionary, or otherwise, and their executors, administrators, heirs and assigns or their successors and assigns as appropriate. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TRACK REPLACEMENT FOR THE GREENSBORO HIGH SCHOOL FOR THE HALE COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION GREENSBORO, ALABAMA

MCKEE PROJECT NO.: 24-141

Sealed proposals for this project shall be received by Mr. Michael C. Ryans, Superintendent at Hale County School System located at 1115 Powers Street, Greensboro, AL 36744; Phone: 334-624-8836, until 2:00 PM Central Time, Thursday, June 6, 2024, then opened and read aloud.

General Contractors bidding on this project shall be required to visit the site to examine all existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal and shall be arranged by the contractor with the school.

All Bidders shall have general liability and workman’s compensation insurance. The project shall be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.

A certified check or Bid Bond payable to Hale County Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00 must accompany the bidder’s sealed proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at the signing of the Contract.

All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Architect. All bidders shall show such evidence by clearly displaying their current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered.
