Marion man charged with traveling to meet minor in Tuscaloosa sting operation

Isaac Essex, 29, of Marion, was charged with traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act and electronic solicitation of a child as part of an undercover investigation by the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force. The investigation targeted adults accused of arranging to have sex with minors, leading to the arrest of Essex and seven others. The operation was conducted in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
