The Perry County Conservation District will be holding a local working group meeting on Monday, August 19. The meeting is slated to begin at 10 AM on 300 Washington Street in Marion.
This session is of particular interest to farmers, ranchers, and landowners, as well as natural resources organizations and agencies. Those who fit any of those categories and reside within Perry County are encouraged to attend this meeting.
The Perry County Conservation District is the only county-level organization that emphasizes conservation of local, natural resources. The organization offers Perry County residents an array of programs and assistance to foster responsible management of natural resources. The group aims to reach landowners, farmers, and those interested in preserving the environment in Perry County.
