HALE COUNTY HIGH HOMECOMING was a winner! Not just the game, which was 46-6 Wildcats over Sumter Central. Morning brunch honoring the returning classes of 1954,64,74,84,94,2004, and 2014 was a great turnout. Followed by food trucks on the quad and reminiscing and catching up with their classmates! A program at 2:00 PM in the newly renovated high school gym, with presentation of the Homecoming Court and The Wildcats, was followed by a parade through downtown Moundville!
Congratulations to Bartleigh Jill Hobson, crowned Miss Tuscaloosa 8/9 year old division, this past weekend. School: She is in 3rd grade at Southern Academy. Parents: Rachel Martin & Adam Bambarger, Michael & Amber Hobson. Grandparents: Tommy & Debi Martin, the late Jill Martin, Leigh Cooper, and the late Bart Hobson.(see pic)
The P.W. & Pat Perkins Family enjoyed 6 days on a family cruise that left from Port Canaveral on the Carnival Vista and visited Amber Cove, Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay. Going from Moundville were Tammy and Steve Perkins, Pat and P.W. Perkins, along with daughter Christy and her girls, Taylor, Ashley (Jeffrey), Tammy and Steve’s son, Austin (Rose) and daughter, Brooke (Will).
