Timothy Ed Moore, 31, of Marion, Alabama, has been charged with making a terrorist threat and harassing communications in an incident that allegedly occurred on February 2, 2023. Moore was arrested on Nov. 23, following an investigation by law enforcement.
The complaint alleges that Moore made a terrorist threat by communicating his intent to commit a violent act or cause property damage in retaliation against individuals who cooperated with law enforcement or the judicial system. Specifically, Moore is accused of threatening a minor for providing information to authorities.
The second charge, harassing communications, stems from allegations that Moore created a Facebook audio post directed at the minor. The content of the audio post reportedly contained statements intended to alarm or harass the victim.
