The City of Marion is gearing up for its annual Christmas Parade and Christmas on the Square event, set to bring festive cheer to Downtown Main Street on Saturday, December 14, 2024. The parade will begin at 5:00 p.m., lighting up the evening with holiday-themed floats, vehicles, trucks, ATVs, gocarts, and more.
In addition to the parade, attendees can enjoy food, vendors, a live show, and other festivities at the Christmas on the Square event, all centered around 123 E. Jefferson Street. The event promises a joyful celebration filled with community spirit and holiday lights.
Participants, including churches, organizations, businesses, and vendors, are invited to be a part of the holiday fun. Registration and sign-up for the parade and Christmas on the Square are required and can be completed at Marion City Hall, located at 123 E. Jefferson Street. Registration began on Monday, November 4, 2024.
