The Alfred G. Adams Optimist Club of Perry County recently recognized the Perry County Board of Education for its continued commitment to student education and the community’s future.
During the recognition, Optimist Club President Tommy King emphasized the importance of taking time to honor the individuals whose hard work contributes to the success of local schools. He noted that behind every achievement in Perry County Schools are dedicated educators, administrators, and staff working tirelessly to support students.
The Board of Education’s efforts, led by Superintendent Dr. Marcia Smiley, were highlighted for their focus on academic excellence and long-term student success.
