Perry County High School Alumni Association elects Diane Harrison president

The group’s annual reunion and fish fry will be April 30

At a meeting in early March, the Perry County High School Alumni Association Board of Directors elected Diane Harrison of Marion as President. She has been a Director for 21 years and served in various positions over the years. She has been the Registration Chair for many decades. 

John Anderson of Marion, Vice President, and Kathi Belcher of Brent, Treasurer, were re-elected to their offices. Freda H. Roberts of Marion was elected as Secretary and Nina Pope of Marion was elected Director.

Other Directors of the association continue in their positions. They are Judy Barton, Glynward Coley, Joanne Dozier, Ada Jean Holifield, Sallie Hubbard, Thomasine Royster, Cynthia Stewart, Paul Wheeler, all of Marion, as well as Wallace Belcher of Brent and Jim Robertson of Helena.

The organization’s profound gratitude goes out to retiring President Sherry Barton of Marion. She has served faithfully in that position for 21 years.
