LEGAL NOTICE MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE

Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by that certain mortgage executed by Joseph Adam Dill, Sr., an unmarried man, originally in favor of Joseph R. Crawford and Myra L. Crawford, as husband and wife, on the 26th day of February, 2018, said mortgage recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Hale County, Alabama, in Mortgage Book 2018 Page 146; the undersigned Jessica McKeough, as Attorney-in-Fact for Myra L. Crawford, as Mortgagee, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash, in front of the main entrance of the Courthouse at Greensboro, Hale County, Alabama, on September 23, 2022, during the legal hours of sale at 11:00 a.m., all of her right, title, and interest in and to the following described real estate, situated in Hale County, Alabama, towit:

To locate the Point of Beginning of the parcel of land herein described, start at the accepted Southeast corner of the NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of the said Section 10; thence Northwardly and along the accepted East Boundary of the NE 1/4 of SE 1/4 of the said Section 10 for a distance of 896.16’ to a point; thence Westwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degree 34 minutes to the left, for a distance of 721.28’ to a point, which point is the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land described as “Parcel 25” which was conveyed by deed to Odis W. McCool and wife, Narcisa M. McCool and being recorded in Deed Book A118 at Page 424 in the Probate Office of Hale County, Alabama, and which point is the Point of Beginning for the parcel of land herein described ; thence continue Westwardly and on a projection of the said last described course for a distance of 57.34’ to a point; thence Southwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degrees 0 minutes to the left, for a distance of 100’ to a point, which point is on the Northern boundary of a 30’ wide road or street; thence Eastwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degrees 0 minutes to the left, and along the Northern boundary of the above said road or street, for a distance of 57.34’ to a point; thence Northwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degree 0 minutes to the left for a distance of 100’ to the point of beginning.

McCool and being recorded in Deed Book A118 at Page 712 in the Probate Office of Hale County, Alabama, and which point is the Point of Beginning for the parcel of land herein described ; thence continue Westwardly and on a projection of the said last described course for a distance of 57.34’ to a point; thence Southwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degrees 0 minutes to the left, for a distance of 100’ to a point, which point is on the Northern boundary of a 30’ wide road or street; thence Eastwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degrees 0 minutes to the left, and along the Northern boundary of the above said road or street, for a distance of 57.34’ to a point; thence Northwardly, with a deflection angle of 90 degree 0 minutes to the left for a distance of 100’ to the point of beginning.

This sale is made for the purpose of paying the indebtedness secured by said mortgage, as well as the expenses of foreclosure. The successful bidder must tender a non-refundable deposit of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) in certified funds made payable to Daniel Moore, Attorney at Law, LLC, at the time and place of the sale. The balance of the purchase price must be paid in certified funds by noon the next business day at the office of Daniel Moore, Attorney at Law, LLC at the address indicated below. Daniel Moore, Attorney at Law, LLC reserves the right to award the bid to the next highest bidder should the highest bidder fail to timely tender the total amount due. The Mortgagee reserves the right to bid for and purchase the real estate and to credit its purchase price against the expenses of sale and the indebtedness secured by the real estate.

NOTICE OF SERVICE BY PUBLICATION TO DETARION DORNELL BUGGS

Detarion Dornell Buggs, whose whereabouts are unknown, must answer Anne C. McKinney’s Complaint for personal injuries filed on March 9, 2022, or thereafter, a judgment by default may be rendered against him in Case Number CV-2022-900019- DLM, currently pending in the Circuit Court of Hale County, Alabama. The Summons and Complaint arise from a wreck of February 24, 2021 which occurred in Hale County, Alabama. The Defendant must file an Answer in the Circuit Court within (30) days after the last publication. Ordinance 2022-01

An Amendment to Ordinance 2007-03 B

(Business License Issue Fee Increase)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENSBORO, ALABAMA, AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: That Sections 3 of an Ordinance Entitled an Amendment to Ordinance 2007-03B adopted November 13, 2012, and the same is hereby amended changing the following:

Section 3. License term; minimums.

(C) Issue Fee. For each license issued, there shall be an issue fee collected of fourteen dollars ($14.00) and said issue fee shall be collected in the same manner as the license tax.

Section 2: This amendment to Ordinance 2007-03 B shall become effective immediately upon its passage, approve, and publication as provided by law.

ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of Greensboro, Alabama, this the 23rd day of August, 2022.
