NOTICE OF SALE UNDER POWER FORECLOSURE NOTICE

WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms and conditions of a mortgage from PATRICK KEARLEY, AN UNMARRIED MAN to MORTGAGE ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION SYSTEMS, INC., AS MORTGAGEE, AS NOMINEE FOR TAYLOR, BEAN & WHITAKER MORTGAGE CORP., on the 29th day of January, 2008, said mortgage recorded in the Office of the Judge of Probate of Hale County, Alabama, on January 31, 2008, in Deed/Mortgage Book 0355, Page 0389, Hale County, Alabama Records, said Mortgage having subsequently been transferred and assigned to Selene Finance LP, by instrument recorded in the aforesaid Probate Office; notice is hereby given that the undersigned Selene Finance LP, as Mortgagee/Transferee, under and by virtue of the power of sale contained in said mortgage, will sell at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash in front of the main entrance of the Courthouse in Greensboro, Hale County, Alabama, on November 10, 2022, during the legal hours of sale, all of its right, title, and interest in and to the following described real estate, situated in Hale County, Alabama, to-wit:

COMMENCE AT A CONCRETE POST MARKING THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 21 NORTH, RANGE 5 EAST; THENCE RUN SOUTHERLY ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID QUARTER-QUARTER WITH MAGNETIC BEARING OF SOUTH 1 DEGREES, 39 MINUTES, 00 SECONDS WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF 400.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 88 DEGREES 30 MINUTES, 18 SECONDS WEST FOR A DISTANCE OF 1388.03 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST MARGIN OF HALE COUNTY ROAD #32, (SAID ROAD HAVING A 50 FOOT RIGHT OF WAY); THENCE RUN SOUTHERLY ALONG SAID ROAD WITH A BEARING OF SOUTH 2 DEGREES, 59 MINUTES, 09 SECONDS EAST FOR A DISTANCE OF 200.55 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE RUN SOUTH 88 DEGREES, 30 MINUTES, 18 SECONDS EAST FOR A DISTANCE OF 1371.82 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF SAID QUARTER-QUARTER; THENCE RUN NORTHERLY ALONG SAID LINE, NORTH 1 DEGREE, 39 MINUTES, 00 SECONDS EAST FOR A DISTANCE OF 200.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

SAID PARCEL CONTAINING 6.33 ACRES, MORE OR LESS.

ALSO, PERMANENTLY ATTACHED IS ONE SOUTHERN ENERGY, RDW 406 MANUFACTURED HOME SERIAL NUMBER 18163A, AND 181638.

Said legal description being controlling, however the property is more commonly known as 1112 RHODES ST, GREENSBORO, AL 36744.

PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The Utilities Board of the City of Greensboro will be hosting a Public Meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Greensboro City Hall, located at 1101 Main Street, Greensboro, Al 36744. The Public Meeting will be held to receive comments on the SRF Applications and Environmental Facilities Plan for the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) Loan -Project No. FS010340-01 and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Loan – Project No. CS010942-01 applied by the Utilities Board of the City of Greensboro. The Environmental Information Document (EID) describing the project will be available for review at the Greensboro City Hall; 1101 Main Street, Greensboro, Al 36744 during regular business hours.

STATE OF ALABAMA PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR

WHEREAS, on November 3, 2020, the people of Alabama ratified Amendment 951 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, authorizing the Alabama Legislature, during its 2022 Regular Session, to draft a recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901;

WHEREAS Amendment 951 confines the draft recompilation to arranging the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 into proper articles, parts, and sections; removing all racist language; deleting duplicative and repealed provisions; consolidating provisions regarding economic development; and arranging all local amendments by county of application; and the draft may make “no other changes”;

WHEREAS Amendment 951 further requires any such draft recompilation to be submitted to the voters upon approval, through a joint resolution, by a three-fifths vote of each house of the Legislature;

WHEREAS the Legislature at its 2022 Regular Session enacted a joint resolution by the requisite three-fifths vote approving a “Proposed Constitution of Alabama of 2022” and specifically finding that it complies with Amendment 951 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, see Ala. Act No. 2022- 111;

WHEREAS the full text of the Proposed Constitution of 2022 is published on the website of the Secretary of State as required by Amendment 951 and is available for viewing at http://alison.legislature.state.al. us/proposed-2022-constitution;

WHEREAS, in conformity with Amendment 951 and other applicable provisions of Alabama law, the Legislature has ordered an election by the qualified electors of the State upon ratification of the Proposed Constitution of 2022 to be held at the 2022 general election; and

WHEREAS, upon ratification of the proposed Constitution of 2022 by a majority of the qualified electors of this State voting on the question of ratification, the Proposed Constitution of 2022 shall succeed the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 as the supreme law of this State in accordance with Amendment 951;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kay Ivey, as Governor of the State of Alabama, do hereby give notice, direct, and proclaim that on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, an election will be held in the State of Alabama in the manner and form provided by law upon the question of ratification of the proposed Constitution of Alabama of 2022, which has been certified by the Secretary of State to appear on ballots as follows:
