A single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) occurred at approximately 10:49 p.m. Saturday, July 1, and has claimed the life of Brookwood man. Michael A. Hyche, 27, was critically injured when the 2016 Honda Foreman ATV he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree. Hyche was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Creekside Road, approximately three miles west of Brookwood, in Tuscaloosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
