DuBois, writer inspired by Greensboro, will sign books Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

On Sunday, March 10, the Hale County Library will be featuring the next installation of their ongoing library lecture series: a book signing with author, Elizabeth Dubois. The event will be at the Old Greensboro Hotel at 1202 Main Street.

Dubois is the author of several novels, featuring the character Louisa Wilton. The Louisa saga follows the titular character through Alabama in its not-too-distant past. Many of the novels are set around historic regions of the Alabama landscape. One novel is entitled Louisa: The Greensboro Years, which is set in historic Hale County.

There will be a brief discussion with the author and a question and answer segment, as well as an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Dubois’s works. A reception will follow with light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. This event is also co-sponsored by the Friends of the Hale County Library.
