Edward Lee Harris Jr., the son of Melvin and Barbara Turner, reached a significant milestone on Saturday, May 10th, graduating from Stillman College with a Bachelor of Science. This achievement came exactly 40 years after his mother, Barbara Paige Turner, graduated from the same institution, adding another chapter to the family’s educational legacy. Harris is an entrepreneur who owns and operates Harris and Sons Trucking, Zone 6 24-Hour Towing Service, and J & J Inflatable Rentals. Beyond his business ventures, he is a proud husband to Victory Jones of Sprott, Alabama, and a devoted father to two sons, Jayceon Amir Harris and Jakari Amir Harris. He serves his community as the coach of the Tri-County Jaguars Youth Football Organization in Montgomery, Alabama. A military veteran with over a decade of leadership and mentoring experience, he values discipline, teamwork, and strategic planning, drawing from his background in youth coaching and military leadership. Harris is committed to shaping the next generation, carrying forward a legacy of hard work, service, and family pride that continues to inspire those around him.
