General Contractors bidding on this project shall be required to visit the site to examine all existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal, which shall be arranged by the contractor with the principal at the school.

Principal Work
The Contractor shall furnish and install:
- New influent pumps.
- New RAS pump.
- New WAS pumps.
- New blowers (aeration/clarifier basin and headworks).
- Replacement diffusers (additive alternate).
- Removal and replacement of screens and headworks (additive alternate).

A deposit of $75.00 per set is required to cover printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution costs.
No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, who may receive a refund for one bid set.
The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder.
The successful bidder must furnish:
- A Performance Bond equal to 100% of the bid amount.
- A Payment Bond equal to 100% of the bid amount.
Bonds must be obtained through a bonding company representative or agent licensed in Alabama.
No bid may be withdrawn after bids are opened. The Owner reserves the right to hold bids for a period of 60 days after receipt.
Contract Time
Time is of the essence.
The contract time is 100 consecutive calendar days, and all specified restrictions must be observed.
Liquidated damages will be assessed if the contract time is exceeded.
Extensions of time may be requested in accordance with the contract documents but must be approved prior to the completion date to avoid liquidated damages.
Funding Requirements
This project is funded through:
- Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF)
- American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Funds
All applicable federal guidelines must be followed.
There will be no pre-bid meeting.
