Howard Eugean Carter, 75, of Heiberger, died Saturday, June 27.
He was born August 3, 1950. He spent his early life working for Seaman Timber Company. He loved hunting and fishing.
Howard will be missed by his three brothers, other family, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa; his parents, Callie Carter and Nettie Mae Carter; five brothers; and four sisters.
A visitation for Howard will be held Thursday, July 2, from 10:30 until 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church in Marion, with funeral services to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sardis Cemetery, with Gervis Smith officiating.
Rockco Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
