Albert Tubbs Sr., 94, of Newbern died Thursday, July 23, in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, at noon at Marion Baptist Academy in Marion. Burial will follow at Norfleet Cemetery on Sand Road in Newbern.
