A Marion woman is charged with endangering the welfare of a child after Selma police say they found four young children left unattended in a hot vehicle in the Selma Walmart parking lot Thursday, Sept. 3.
D’Anna Nicole Harris, 26, was arrested after officers on routine patrol spotted the children in a parked car as the temperature outside reached 99 degrees, police said, according to WAKA.
The children told officers that Harris was inside the store. Police did not say how long the children had been in the car or how they are related to her.
