Saint Mary Primitive Baptist Church on County Road 177, St. Mary’s Road, in Uniontown will hold its church anniversary observance Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon.
The theme is “God Welcomes Us Back Home,” from Romans 15:7: “Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.”
The Rev. Dr. Mack E. Page Sr., pastor of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, will be the guest minister. Elder Thomas Harris Sr. is pastor. Deacon William Gunn Sr. of New Liberty Baptist Church in Tyler will be master of ceremony, Deacon Jency Warren is chairman and Sister Mildred Carter is secretary.
Dinner will be served. The church color is black or gold.
