Tom Anderson Paige

Mr. Tom Anderson Paige was born March 23, 1956, in Greensboro, Alabama, to the late William “Jip” Paige and Willie Mae Sanders Paige Dillard. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member and served on the Board of Trustees. He gained his heavenly wings on May 20, 2026, at the age of 70.

He graduated from Greensboro Public School East Campus with the Class of 1974. He was employed with Phifer Incorporated as a truck driver for 30 years until his retirement on April 22, 2021. He was also the owner of Paige Vaults & Monuments, TA Rentals, and Paige Ice Cream.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Lovell Taylor, James “Sivie” Paige, William “Bay” Paige Jr., Johnnie “John” Paige Sr., L.T. Paige, O.C. “Dad” Paige, and Arthur Lee “Maine” Paige; and four sisters, Rebecca “Ruth” Paige, Gosia Paige, Josephine Paige Williams, and Viola “Tea” Paige Jeffries.

He leaves to cherish his memories three loving and devoted children, Cedric Williams of Greensboro, Alabama, Aaron (Erin) Paige Sr. of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Deidre (William) Paige-Carter of Greensboro, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Miguel Shelton of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Cedric Williams Jr. of Birmingham, Alabama, Davion Hamilton of Greensboro, Alabama, Cedarious Hamilton of Demopolis, Alabama, Avery Paige of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Paige Carter of Greensboro, Alabama, and Aaron Paige Jr. of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Sanvi Shelton of Fort Wayne, Indiana; one devoted sister, Sarah P. Mauldin of Greensboro, Alabama; one devoted brother, Theodore Hill of Greensboro, Alabama; a devoted nephew, Derrick Paige of Greensboro, Alabama; a devoted friend, Viola Pullum Knott; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church, 13584 AL Hwy 25 South, Greensboro, Alabama 36744, with Pastor Carlier Agnew officiating.
