The Black Belt Community Foundation’s Throw & Go contest is open, with the winner receiving two tickets to the Magic City Classic football game between Alabama A&M and Alabama State in Birmingham, plus a two-night stay at a Birmingham hotel.
Entries are $5 each, with bonus entries for donations of $20 or more. Proceeds support the foundation’s community grants in its 12 Black Belt service counties. The last day to buy entries is Thursday, Oct. 15, at noon, and the drawing is Friday, Oct. 16. Enter at blackbeltfound.org/throwandgo.
