Uniontown man arrested for attempted murder

Freddie James Ward Jr. was arrested on August 12, 2024, and faces multiple serious charges, including three counts of attempted murder, two counts of firstdegree robbery, discharging a firearm into an occupied building or vehicle, and first-degree criminal mischief. The charges are related to an incident that occurred on September 20, 2023.

Ward remains in jail without bond following his arrest. The case is being handled in the Circuit Court of Perry County, with the case number CC-2024-900010.00.

Circuit Judge Collins Pettway has set a Sept. 4 date for preliminary hearings on the charges.
