Body Love Now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts
Residents of Perry County now have greater access to vital health information as Body Love, a health program hosted by Ms. Frances Ford, has expanded into the digital realm. What began as a weekly radio show on WJUS 94.3 FM, airing every Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:00 AM, is now available as a podcast on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Body Love provides a wealth of health knowledge to its listeners, tackling key issues such as childhood obesity, breast cancer awareness, and more. Ms. Frances Ford, a longtime Perry County Health Coordinator and Alabama Healthcare Hall of Fame inductee, co-hosts the program with Sam Brill, a current Project Horseshoe Farm Fellow. Together, they aim to equip the community with accurate and actionable health information that encourages healthier lifestyle choices.
Ford has dedicated her life to healthcare, having previously served as a nurse across Perry and Dallas Counties. Her passion for community wellness led her to collaborate with Dr. Pilar Murphy of Samford University’s School of Pharmacy, resulting in the launch of Body Love. The show has since grown into a staple for residents of Perry County, educating them on a variety of health concerns.
With the new podcast format, the wealth of information shared on Body Love can now reach even more listeners. Whether it’s catching a missed episode or revisiting important health tips, the podcast provides convenient, on-demand access for rural and urban communities alike.
Tune in to Body Love each Wednesday on WJUS 94.3 FM, or now listen at your convenience on Spotify and Apple Podcasts to stay informed and inspired on your health journey.
