Perry man charged for hunting violations in Hale

A Perry County man has been charged with hunting violations in Hale County. Hunter DeWayne Holliday, 23, of Marion, has been charged with violating wildlife management regulations, specifically Rule 220-2-.55, which pertains to the improper possession or scattering of grain or corn in a wildlife management area. The incident allegedly occurred on Nov. 23 at the Oakmulgee Wildlife Management Area near Ala. Hwy. 25 in Hale County.

The charge was filed by Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Officer William T. Deyampert. According to the complaint, the violation involved the scattering of grain or corn, which is prohibited.
