Geri Colburn, a beloved 74-year-old resident of Centreville, Alabama, passed away on February 16, 2026, at Bibb County Nursing Home.
Graveside services was held at Salem Church in Marion, Alabama, on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Geri’s legacy is carried on by her loving family. She is survived by her children Misty (Kevin) Shuttlesworth, Dena (Jimmy) Hudson, and Debbie (Troy) May, as well as her siblings Judy Murphy and Richie Bracknell. She was a cherished grandmother to Haley Shuttlesworth, Kasey Shuttlesworth, Michael Adamski, Erika Adamski, Brandon Sims, Jacob Sims, Sean Edwards, Leann Crocker, and Kenneth Crocker. She also leaves behind multiple great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Geri was preceded in death by her husband, Brue Colburn; her parents, Lewis Bracknell and Verona Hadlock; and her son, Denson Crocker.
Pallbearers for the service are Kasey Shuttlesworth, Kevin Shuttlesworth, Mason Nichols, Ryan Epperson, Hunter Thompson, and Chase Kornegay.
The family extends special thanks to the nurses and staff of Bibb Medical Center and Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home for their care.
