Children’s Policy Council donation will help library provide e-book access to all

Judge Robert Bryant presented the Marion-Perry County Library with a check in the amount of $1,500 on behalf of the Perry County Children’s Policy Council Literacy Campaign. This money will be used toward the library’s ebook subscription. This free service is available to all library patrons.

The library’s ebook provider is Camellia Net, which has 45,000 books and approximately 6,000 audio books available to download electronically. Patrons who enroll for this free service enjoy their reading pleasure at the click of a button.

If you are interested in enrolling for ebooks, please contact the library at 334- 683-6411. If you are not a patron of the library, you may come by the library Monday-Thursday from 9am-1pm and 2pm-5pm to become a member. There is no fee for membership for residents of Perry County. Those who live out of the county and attend school in Perry County or work in Perry County also qualify for free membership.
