Marion man charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief

According to a criminal complaint filed in Perry County District Court on Friday, June 30, a Marion man has been charged with third-degree burglary, firstdegree theft of property, and third-degree criminal mischief in connection with an incident from 2022.

Jeremy Bernard Parker is charged with breaking into Marion Builders on May 29, 2022 and stealing tools and hardware, in addition to causing property damage.

According to court records, police say video surveillance footage from the security system of the business caught Parker in the act.

No further information was available on the case as of press time Wednesday.
