Woman dies following one-vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa

A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:05 a.m. Thursday, July 13, has claimed the life of a Tuscaloosa woman. Angela C. Henderson, 37, was fatally injured when the 2013 Toyota Prius that she was driving left the roadway, struck a concrete barrier and overturned. Henderson was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Interstate 59 near the 71 mile marker, within the Tuscaloosa city limits of Tuscaloosa County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
